Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. –Psalm 100:4 NKJV
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. –Psalm 100:4 NKJV
As we enter into this season of Thanksgiving, remember to whom we should be thankful. Our Father in Heaven gave us the number one reason to be thankful! He sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth to die for each and every one of us. Can you fathom that kind of love? We can love because He first loved us. When we say our prayers at our Thanksgiving table this year, let us remember to include what our heavenly Father has done for us. Remember Psalm 100:2 (NKJV), which reads, “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.” The greatest thing we can be thankful for is our salvation, and the greatest gift we can give to others is the truth of God’s Word and leading them to Jesus.
Tell someone about the love of God through kind words and showing the way to your Savior, Jesus.
Thanksgiving is a time of reflection and reminding ourselves what being thankful is all about. Take the time today to tell God how thankful you are for all He has done for you!
