...And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? -Esther 4:14 NIV
...And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? -Esther 4:14 NIV
Esther was kidnapped and taken from her home to the palace. She and many others were pampered and taught to be a queen, but in the end, Esther won the heart of the king. One day her uncle sent her a message that the king and his men were plotting to wipe out all the Jews in the land. Being Jewish herself, that struck fear in her heart. However, in those days, to approach the king, without being summoned, would have cost her life. After a short time, her uncle sent her a second message saying that God would deliver His people and perhaps she’d been sent to the palace to be the deliverer. Esther's future and the lives of the Jews stood at a precipice.
