Have you felt like life has stalled? Sometimes the desires and dreams we have for our life don’t match our current career, our current situation or season of life, or the opportunities currently available to us. Often, we search for guidance by asking friends, coworkers, social media, and the culture for the path to success and joy. The Bible says God is our Source, and He makes known our path in life. God is the Source of our joy. When we spend time in His presence, He gives us joy in the midst of and in spite of our current situation. When we place ourselves under His authority we will enjoy the pleasures of a truly abundant life. If we are obedient, seeking Him in His Word, in prayer, and in worship, He will guide us to the right path, and walk with us along the way. Ask God for direction in your life. Ask Him to show you where you need to surrender authority to Jesus so you can have joy now in His presence and receive the blessing He has in store for you.
